Golden Snail

This is a black tea that is hard rolled into small balls. Reminiscent in appearance of a black gunpower. "Golden" in the name refers to the leaf buds which in the dried tea turn golden yellow in color. "Snail", ie snail simply means that the leaves are rolled in a spiral shape.

Then there was the taste. It is light but aromatic, slightly sour and slightly bitter to be Chinese. An exciting tea that goes well in the afternoon or evening.
