Description / Mokalbari GFBOP

Produced on one of the world's largest tea plantations, here comes the Mokalbari GFBOP. It is a "broken tea", ie the leaves have been crushed to give off more flavor. One of the finest broken teas from Assam.

Mokalbari roughly means "the place where coarse bamboo grows", and as early as 1876 an English tea grower began cultivating this area south of the Brahmaputra River. Now over 1000 hectares are cultivated for tea plantations, and they are known for their tasty teas.

Has a special, slightly "thick" taste, with hints of dates. If it is dragged for too long, it can become a bit stiff, but if you drink it with milk, it may have a little bite.
