Matcha-whisk made of bamboo

Now you can take your matcha drinking to new heights. When you get tired of stirring matcha with a spoon, a matcha whisk is what you use when whisking matcha for a smoother foam. The name for this tool is chasen in Japanese.

• First, soak the chasen in a little hot water to prevent the tines from breaking.
• Add the matcha to the bowl and pour in the water.
• Whisk back and forth, first slowly, then faster. About half a minute in total. Try to keep your arm and hand relaxed. Finish by writing a "Z" or "N" in the foam to make it a little smoother.

Remember not to press with the chasen, it should only touch the bottom of the bowl.
