Green organic tea, steamed of roasted
Our organic teas are produced from the tea shrub, without any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. This is where the natural tastes emerge from. Still, there is a huge variation, depending on climate, soil and productions methods.
In general, Japanese steamed teas have a fresh, grassy note, whereas Chinese roasted teas have a flowerish, herbal taste.
However, all green teas are heated. The heating destroys an enzyme, thus preventing the leaves to oxidize and change color.
