Description / Bi Luo Chun
Biluochun (pilo chun) is one of China's most famous teas, here in an affordable version for drinking every day. It is roasted in a wok in a special way so that the leaf blight will remain. The tea consists mostly of leaves, a few buds. Lots of flavor, and a slightly bitter tone characterizes this invigorating tea.
Traditionally, you brew it directly in the cup, or even better in a drinking glass, so that you can see the beautiful leaves. Pour 80-degree water into a drinking glass, place in a heaped teaspoon of tea leaves and serve. When you have drunk most of it, you just fill up with fresh water.
