Description / Kenya Milima GFOP
Large quantities of tea are produced in Kenya, most of it for the big brands' tea factories. It is therefore very rare to see so-called orthodox production, i.e. whole leaves in the traditional way. Milima is sometimes referred to as "Africa's best tea", and comes in a few different leaf varieties.
The leaves have a lot of golden shoots, and the taste is perhaps most reminiscent of second harvest assam tea, but much lighter.
