Vietnam is a major tea producer with a tradition going back thousands of years, yet it has managed to remain very anonymous. Kim Tuyen, one of the more famous varieties, is produced in northern Vietnam a few miles from the Chinese border. The taste is a little thicker, like Yunnan, with hints of cocoa and dried fruit like keemun. A hint of lemon with a peppery aftertaste.
