Description / Korea Jeju Jungjak Organic
Jeju is a volcanic island south of the Korean Peninsula, known as the Hawaii of Korea. It is home to fruit farms and, of course, tea farms.
The name (중작) literally means "middle-cut", referring to the "middle size" of the leaves. The slightly later harvest has a seaweed, hay/grass flavor. It is herbaceous, quite strong and slightly bitter.
