Description / Nepal Emerald
In eastern Nepal is the family-owned Guranse Tea Estate, founded in 1989. Here at high altitude, between 1000 and 2200 meters, they grow various teas of high or very high quality. The plants are 100% clones of Chinese tea bushes, selected to suit this particular climate.
Emerald Green is light but full-bodied, rich in flavor with an aromatic sweetness. It is reminiscent of Chinese and Korean green tea. The taste is fresh and slightly floral.
