Description / Nepal Sakhira

Nepal has been producing tea since the mid-19th century, but is still finding its place in the tea world. The best conditions for tea cultivation are in the eastern part of the country. Near the Indian border a few miles from Darjeeling in India is the village of Sakhejung. This is where this very high quality tea is produced. It is from the first harvest of the season, with a fresh floral aroma.

The leaves are classified as SFTGFOP1.
