Sikkim is India's youngest (and second smallest) state. At the initiative of the last chogyal (the king), a tea plantation was established here in 1969 on just under 180 ha, Sikkim Temi, which quickly achieved great success.
Sikkim is located directly north of Darjeeling, and the taste is very reminiscent of a good Darjeeling.
