Description / Temple of Heaven, Gunpowder
Hard-rolled green tea, called gunpowder (ie "gunpowder"). Maybe it got its name from the shape, maybe from the Chinese expression for freshly brewed, gang pao de. This variety is named after Tian Tan (天坛) in Beijing, where the emperor used to perform ceremonies to ensure good harvests.
No aromas are added, but it is a pure green tea, stronger than our other gunpowder. Slightly nutty, roasted taste.
