In southern China, Yunnan province is best known for its flavorful black teas. But here comes a fine green tea with hand-picked leaves. Most green teas are made from the Chinese variety of the tea plant. This one, however, is made from the Indian large-leaf variety. The taste is also different from most other Chinese green teas.
Pointedly twisted, the leaves give a clean and full-bodied flavor, almost fruity with a nutty note of roasted rice.
