Green tea for the cold season! Chai may only mean "tea", but "masala chai" - as the original wording goes - mean spiced tea. Actually it is masala (मसाला) which in Hindi means spice! Hari means "green" - so the name of this blend becomes "green spice" - how appropriate!
The challenge when making a tea blend is to get everything to come together with a broad and rich spiciness, without drowning the flavor of the green tea. In addition to the classic spices, this blend contains both turmeric and chili. We think it's all there, but it's up to you to decide....
