Description / High Grade King of Pu'er
A fine, organic pu'er from the Chinese Yunnan province. Pu'er (or pu erh as it is sometimes written) exists both as sheng , i.e. "raw", or shou , ie "mature". The first variant is often produced in the form of cakes, while the fast-ripening (fermented 60 to 90 days) type is also available as leaf tea. This variety has been stored for 2-3 years, which gives it a softer taste.
Pu'er may not appeal to all people, but those who do start drinking this specialty easily get caught up in the "pu'er swamp" ... Pu'er are very suitable as a meal drink, but also as a digestif - that is, after the meal, as it is said to facilitate digestion.
