Huang Ya is an unusual - yellow - tea from Huoshan in Anhui Province. After picking, the shoots are heated in a wok, and then wrapped in a thick linen paper._x000D_
A slow oxidation takes place, the leaves are heated again, rewound, and then roasted and dried. The complicated process gives a bright yellow tea that is mild but still fragrant. A bit like something in between green and white tea._x000D_

Pleasant taste experience

This was the first yellow tea I tasted and it was a pleasant experience. A bit different and exciting. The tea is very aromatic, especially the first cup, but all three cups are great!

The first cup is fabulously good. What an aroma! My absolute favorite right now. The following cups are not as aromatic but good.
