Description / Korea Hadong Black
Korea's finest teas are grown at the foot of Mount Jiri-san. Korea produces only small amounts of tea, and black teas, known in Korea as balhyocha, are very rare. This exclusive black tea is made from the Chinese variety of the tea bush, camellia sinensis. The leaves are picked by hand and then gently oxidized.
The lightly twisted leaves have a natural aroma of cocoa and produce a red, aromatically sweet but light brew. Undoubtedly one of the finest teas in our range, which we think you will appreciate.
