The Oakland plantation is known for its 100% cloned teas. This means that instead of growing new plants from seeds, cuttings have been used to duplicate the best plant you could find. It takes longer to build up a crop in that way, but pays off in the form of better and more even quality.
In summary, a nice single-estate from Assam.

Rather pale tea.

This tea is rough and has a hint of maltiness, but it is generally an "uneventful" tea. Quite pale and neutral. It tastes neither bad nor good. I have bought this tea once before, but can now say that it is not a tea I will buy again.

Very affordable Assam with a light scent of chocolate. Received a sample bag with a purchase and will order a full size pack next time. Also works well to drink without milk, complex and delicious.
