Oolong is a specialty for those who want to dig a little deeper into the world of tea. There are different processes depending on the tradition, but the common factor is that the tea leaves are allowed to oxidize slightly. The result is a unique type of tea, somewhere between green and black tea. The flavors are often complex and floral. The tradition originates from China's Fujian province. Taiwan is another oolong stronghold, and the former name of Taiwan, Formosa, has made the term Formosa Oolong famous.

The tea varieties are

• Da Hong Pao - well-known tender Chinese oolong with a wonderfully complex flavor
• Tie Guan Yin Eko - lighter Chinese oolong with a floral scent
• Jade Dong Ding Oolong - Taiwanese oolong, very popular
• Ming Jian Hong Shui - hard rolled Taiwanese oolong with sweet aroma
