Electric kettle with thermostat

We don't usually recommend other people's products, but this time we felt it was hard not to.

When brewing tea, it's important to get the water temperature right.

If you stick to black tea, this is not a major problem.

But green tea should not be brewed in water hotter than 80°C.

So how do you do it?

A thermometer will help you find your way, but it may take some time to find your way.

A kettle with a thermostat is very practical.

For one thing, a kettle is more efficient than a stove (unless you have an induction hob, in which case it's the same thing).

But you can also set the temperature so that it heats the water to the right temperature immediately.

Doesn't the water have to boil first?

No, it is only necessary if the water is not safe.

That is, if you would be prepared to drink it straight from the tap, you do not need to boil it first.

Electrolux has an all-stainless steel thermostatic kettle that holds 1.7 liters.

You can set the temperature to 5 degrees when.

Right now (November 2020 - valid until December 24!), it is available at an extra price at Clas Ohlson, for only 499:-.
We are not sponsored, and have no collaboration with them.

(We would not be able to sell at that price either.) But we want our customers to be able to prepare their tea quickly and easily, so we are happy to give tips.
